Post pics and comments - I've seen it posted that a 275 drag radial will fit in a stock 66 belvedere rear wheelwell - it doesn't look like spring location is an issue due to the inside wheelwell being tight. Post what you got - 28" tall or taller if it works and give rim size and backspacing.

i got a set of 275 bfg drag radials on a set of 15 x8's center line warriors. you can have them real cheap. you can have the fronts for free if you take the rears. they will fit your car perfectly.

I don't think I would go any bigger than 255/60 15s, you have to allow for tire growth through the quarter and if you ever have any passengers in the rear seat I think you will rub.

15x10 W/ 4.5" backspace with a 28x11.50x15 ET Street on a 66 coronet stock springs and stock tubs. I have a spool and have to be careful how I turn and there are no rear seat passengers or full tanks of fuel or they will rub, 15x8 with a 4.5 backspace and they will not rub with a posi, no spool.
