Hi,

I found these two holes in the cars floor next to the trans tunnel. I have no idea what they are for or who drilled them into the floor. Does anyone know? Car is a 65 coronet 500 which had 318 and automatic with center console. Obviously it is not rust... :icon_scratch:

Thank you.

Looks like some one messed up trying to run a aftermarket shifter cable and had to re drill.

Either the shifter cable access as mentioned or a drain hose for an aftermarket A/C system.

The 2 on the trans tunnel are for the park/shift cables for the trans. The other one next to the accelerator thingy has me baffled.

I think hemi is right. Could be the park and shift hole for the push-button in 65. Thank you for the answers. The other hole above was only used for the extra gauges build in later. No idea what is was good for in the beginning...
