Hello,
I am looking for a correct 1967 440, 4-speed dual point distributor. I have an all original 67 GTX but a previous owner put a Mallory Distributor and coil on the car.
Or, I have a 68 383 dual point which someone dropped a later model 440 distributor shaft in it. Can that be modified to work and look correct for my 67 440??
Thanks
Bob
Let me see what I have for the 440. Yes the other one can be modified to LOOK right but the numbers will still be wrong on the tag but you can get one made up to mount on it. I just will not mount the tag on it but have done a few "clones" for people king of in the place you are in. I also have no idea which curve they have in it at all, could be anything. Shoot me a pm as a reminder, I will look today. 4 bbl carb? Any idea which factory HP it is and CAP or non CAP, makes a difference.
I think you need a IBS 4006 either a Z or Y ending. Need some more info. And I do not have one of those.
