PPG DP products aren't meant to be sanded. Usually best to put on bare steel and coat with another primer such as a 2k high build, or when used as a sealer you can lightly sand out dust nibs then coat over. No it doesn't sand well lol. Leaves small gummed up circles on your paper lol. If you do have to sane it the rougher grit the better and constantly wipe your paper with a rag but yep, sucks to sand.I used a ppg epoxy exactly 1 time....... it was probably good for sealing and topcoating with somethind else; but I couldn't sand it....... wet, dry, da, didn't matter
