So I found a car in California that I really like…of course I live in NY. I just wanted to see where I could get a few estimates on shipping costs. I’m not expecting it to be cheap but there are so many websites that I’m not even sure where to start. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Thanks

I paid $1200 to ship from San Jose to Indiana. The first guy I booked never showed up, second guy I booked drove an eighteen wheeler and was professional. Didn’t bother him that the car wasn’t drivable and didn’t have brakes. It’s an issue with some drivers. This was 7 years ago so I’m guessing the price has gone up. Be patient, the process will stress you out even with a good driver.

Reliable. Mine came from Montana to Pennsylvania. About $2,000 a few years ago, but 100% professional

They pay what it takes to get the real professionals, charge what it takes to make that possible. I worked in the trucking business for 42 years. When you go cheap, you get what you pay for.

I have shipped a dozen cars this year. Most running, some not and even some not running with no brakes. I’ve always used the website shiply.com. Free to get bids. You can choose open carry, enclosed etc.

Every driver has taken before and after pictures, I’m pretty sure it’s a requirement. They have to have insurance also. They list their insurance when they bid on the job. Worth a shot to get a range for you.

You will get ALOT of bids within minutes.

I used Reliable this past September. Northern California to Northern Florida. Just over $3,000. I was very satisfied.

I can highly recommend Passport. Was a nice feature to get a GPS number and track it as it travels across the country

Oct 2020 From Cincinnati Ohio, to Vail AZ was click under $2000 , enclosed
