Does anyone know what it would take to reduce the chamber volume on a Performer RPM head? Was contemplating going from 84 to 75 cc. So how much would need to be taken off the head surface to get it to 75 cc? Or I may just look for some E Street heads. Do the E Street heads flow the same as the Perf RPMs? Or do they not flow as well? Just looking for some answers here. OK thanks!

Rule of thumb for a stock cast iron closed chamber head is to machine .0062 for every CC reduction. I would say machine around .005 for every CC on an Eddy head. Whoever does the work for you should be able to check CC's after cutting .010 and see what it is....

E street are basically replacement stock heads with minor improvement. Performer RPMs do flow better and are probably what you are after.

I have the 75cc Performer rpms on my 493. They are offered by Edelbrock off the shelf.

Gonna take .045-.050 to get there.
