I remember them. Unfortunately......
My Brother let me fiancé buy one when she was living with him and his wife.
I wanted to kill him!
I was in Ranger School in the Army and off the net for a few months.
What a piece of crap. She had the GVL Model all loaded up. At 60mph when you turned the AC the car slowed down to 45mph.
It barely made it to Ft. Bragg.
I got rid of it in a couple months, most dealerships would not even take the car on trade...Lost our ***.
Car lasted a few months wife about 25 years. Glad they are both gone....

My sister bought a new red GV in 86. Within the first few months the rear view mirror fell off, a window crank broke, and needed bulbs replaced. Within a year she traded it on a used RX7. We still laugh talking about that crackerbox.
