And every time some bleeding lib has the balls to say Hiroshima was wrong, remember the slaughter of our guys.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were both heroism at it’s finest hour! The United States of America was and is the greatest country on earth! When this country comes together nothing has ever been able to beat it! God bless every veteran who has ever served this great nation!

I have visited that monument and it is both somber and awe inspiring. One thing was interesting is the Japanese tourists present, they were respectful it was an odd moment especially because I was a Military member and viewed it through the lens of a warfighter. I lived in Okinawa for over 9 years and it was always a interesting situation when interacting with the Okinawans and Japanese (they are not the same). Some of the older Okinawans who remember the war were not usually very friendly towards Americans but the younger people were either ambivalent or in some cases severely anti American. We had a guy who was the janitor and grounds keeper of our facility and he was a kid when the US invaded, but he had come to terms with it. The Japanese on the other hand were too consumed with making money to care by the 80's.

USS Bennington honors to the USS Arizona -1958

I've been to the USS Arizona Memorial, in Pearl Harbor
maybe a dozen times (usually on rented scooters too)
every time we went to the Pro-bowl in Hawaii
I went every year from 1985-1997, with my MNF party gang
my vacation time in 1st part of Feb., back when it was held after the Super Bowl
we'd either stay the week before the Pro-Bowl, see a bunch of the players
that some/a lot of the players would also visit the memorial too
(back when they weren't such kneeling ********)
or go to the Pro-Bowl & stay the week after, when most of the player had left
one time 1990-ish I went to Hawaii/Oahu literally for 24hrs
I attended the Pro-Bowl game &
we'd made a point to go to Pearl Harbor, pay our respects 1st

such somber days
It truly strikes you where all the Patriotism comes from
deep in your minds & hearts

Not sure if this was already posted...This short documentary tells the story of Harold & Eda Oberg, & the film footage they recorded of the Pearl Harbor attack on December 7, 1941. The couple captured shots during & after the attack on Hickam Army Airfield.

and you tell those people to read about The Bataan Death March, or the practice of the Japanese Navy, picking up our downed fliers out of the ocean, tying them up (after torturing them)and throwing them back in the ocean, starving and beating our POWs......
