I have two A body sport mirrors and both of them have broken cables. Does anyone know where I can buy a new set of these cables? I have not seen any in any of the major repro houses i.e. Classic, PG, Year One, etc.
While I am askin, does anyone have a good system of taking them apart to access the cable connections behind the mirror?

I'd be interested if any are available as well.
my remote mirror is in decent shape-except for the cable.
I can buy a complete mirror assembly, but I'd prefer to just replace the cable, if possible(?)

The disassembly of these mirrors is an art that eludes 99.67 % of mankind.
There is a mirror specialist that I used to see at the swap meets from here to LA. He is an Asian guy in his late 40s if that helps.
