That is interesting that it came from Dash Masters [UR] in TX. They should make good on it. You will probably find that the 2 plastic inserts fit real tight. Also there were 2 different grains. A smooth one like in my pics and a kinda small pebble one that was a little more course.
They are already sending out a replacement and call tag for the one with a blemish. Interesting that they only have one grain size. Now this is Carolina dash, and Carol is really cool, great customer service.
Wow, hows this for amazing customer service, they overnighted a replacement dash pad to me, which is excellent, no blemishes, and also sent a call tag to pickup the other one. Cant say enough good things about Carolina/Superior dash pads!!!!
That’s great news. Now to see how everything fits. If you could, take some pictures.
Like Mark said “You will probably find that the 2 plastic inserts fit real tight” This is why Just Dash is so much money. I was told this would not happen. Plus the material they use is UV resistances so fading or cracking will not happen. I like to know how true this really is.
Does anyone have current contact info on dashmasters / Ultimate rides ? I gave there sales guy Allen my core back in March and paid for the new one .He assured me it would be a 3 - 4 week lead time at most . Middle of July and still no dash !! Now Allens phone is disconnected and the # I have for there business just gos to voice mail and nobody calls you back . Are they still in business ?? Any help will be much appreciated ......:angryfire:
Anyone care to say how much these dashes cost? Just curious.I tried calling Just for Dashes 3 different times and they never would return my calls I even left messages. I wound up doing my dash myself. It turned out pretty good for a first attempt.
The dash pad I got from Carolina was $410 plus $45 in shipping and if you don't have a core to send $50 for core charge. Not only a good price but the customer support has been outstanding.
I see that some time has past since the last post on this thread and I wanted to see if anyone had any additional feedback on how the pads are holding up and if there are any new sources for the 72 dash pads. I'm ready to get one on order and I wanted to see what the experts have to say
