I'm needing to replace the cam and lifters in my 440, motor is in my 67 coronet. Is it possible to replace the cam without removing the grill?

Not really sure, but remove the radiator for sure, and AC condenser if equipped.

Tape measure is your friend here. Not fun taking the grill out of a 67 Coronet.

Done it many times. Only nasty thing is if its got AC because the condenser is in the way. Had to deal with that on the street car but straightforward on the race car.

If it’s a big block keep in mind that if the engine has the original style lifters and pushrods in it, they are different than 68 and later lifters and pushrods.
The difference is the pushrod cup in the lifter and the bottom end of the pushrod.

None of the “cam and lifter kits” you will find will have the correct 67 and earlier lifters.
Generally, the easiest solution is to just use the 68 and later stuff.
