I came across a non digital msd 6420 6AL box for $45 and bought it on impulse. Since my car has plugs/wires/coil of unknown age and I was going to change them soon, was figuring I could wire in the msd and eliminate the chrome box as well. my car idles a lot and is street driven so from what I read the chrome box isn't a good choice anyway.
anyone think this is a bad idea? any advice or tis if installing the msd is the way to go
