1967 satellite

I have a 1967 Satellite that needs the fuel line replaced. Has anyone ever replaced one with the rear end in the car, and how did you do it? Thanks in advance.
Dumb question #1 (sorry).... why does it matter if the rear end is in the car? Doesn't the fuel line only go from just above the rear end to the engine compartment? Is the '67 Satellite different?
I can't really comment on the fuel line since mine's not "stock", but when I put in my brake lines it wasn't "that bad". I mean, you have to un-bend the lines & weave them gently in/out/around/along frame rails, but not that difficult. I have to assume (sorry again) that the fuel line isn't much harder.
It can be done pretty easily. I installed new lines from right stuff in both my 66 b bodies. They come bent to fit in the box so you have to straighten them out. I installed the rear over the axle first then insert the front of the line through the frame. It may be easier on a lift but you can do it on a creeper like me.The gas line in the front goes through a frame rail and the back winds along the rear quarter and up to the gas tank behind the rear end. There's no way to remove it without cutting it in half or bending it. I don't care about it coming out but putting a new one in is my concern. If the line is not flexible than there will be a problem. I need to keep it original.
Thanks. I will look into right stuff. It can be done pretty easily. I installed new lines from right stuff in both my 66 b bodies. They come bent to fit in the box so you have to straighten them out.
