Looks like I most likely have a bad lifter. I want to simply change them.
I was wondering if its possible to use a magnet to remove them without
removing my blower and intake man.

Yep, you can use a magnet and pull them up through the head without pulling the heads or the intake. Get the strongest magnet you can find.

that's awesome, It came to me when as we say ;lets sit and drink about it.
I just didn't know if it was plausible and thought I may be joked for asking.

To help ease them out if they don't come is a shot of Gumout to clean the varnish on the lower part of the lifter. Good Luck

I swapped some lifters on a 100k miles 383 and they came right out. How many miles are on the lifters and what happened to them? You didn't flatten any lobes, did ya?

Well, I was wrong. I just looked at one of my engines and yes it looks like there is room to get them out through the head.

That'll teach me to answer posts at 4am at work.

If there old lifters they may be gummed up on the bottom and wont want to come all the way out. Spray gumout or carb cleaner on them as was said and if you use a strong magnet I found that if it does not come all the way to work it up and down in the hole a few times and then it usually comes out. Use a really strong magnet, add some metal dust and you can Magnaflux at the same time..! ;)

(disclaimer..that's total BS..DON'T try it) hehe..

I have done that using mig welding wire. Assuming there is no varnish or gum on the bottom of the lifter as 383man said. Took a piece of mig welding wire, put a 90 bend on the very end (just made a hook on the end). Pushed down on the pushrod slightly and hooked the end of the wire under the retaining clip in the lifter then let the pushrod up to put tension on the wire hook and pulled the lifter out.
