Looks like I most likely have a bad lifter. I want to simply change them
I was wondering if its possible to use a magnet to remove them without
removing my blower and intake man. 360 sb

Remove the blower, intake, and valley pan (if you have a valley pan type set-up). Remove the rocker covers and removed the or loosen the rockers as needed to remove the push rods. Keep the rockers and push rods in order so they are installed in the same locations. The lifters will come out with a magnet if the bores do not have ridges. You can also use a lifter removal tool. They are inexpensive and I'd buy one for the job to make it easier, or perhaps your local auto parts store has one for rent.
