I have an extra original on the shelf. But its also an old aftermkt reman, same as the one on the car. I switched rubber gaskets and it still leaks slightly. casting seems fine, smooth with no signs of pits but I cant tell if the surface is flat or not.

Im going to switch the lid next and see what it nets me this weekend

Ive been thinking about switching to disc brakes , but wasnt planning to do that for maybe another year or 2.,,,,,If I ever do the switch
But ,,,,I dont like leaks and was considring one of these new units .

Anyone bought one of these and care to comment, good or bad .
Mine has a lid leak I cant seem to stop . So Im looking at options

I have not bought one. However it sounds like the studs can be reused. It seems the remanufactured ones with the single bolt cap the studs are too loose and could not be pressed in and I had to use nut and bolt method. Looks like there are several vendors selling this unit. Mancini has it listed also. I like the appearance. Good option if you are not looking for an exact correct replacement like a Bendix.
