I'm doing my research and would appreciate any help members could provide me. I have a 67 Satellite with a 383 in it and I want to swap it over to a street hemi. What is involved in this kind of a swap? What all has to be changed?

everything imageable! This is pretty much what you can retain. Water pump and maybe radiator but not advisable.

If the car is factory air, the radiator is the SAME as a Hemi car. The HD cooling was optional on non-air cars, too, and if the car has that, it will also have the Hemi radiator. Your K-frame can be retained. Torsion bars on a Hemi are thicker, but you can run the stock ones just fine. Your wiring harness will need to be modified or replaced. Are you going for a stock appearance, or are you building a hot rod and don't care about stock appearances?

Thanks for the info. I'm not going with a stock look. Just want the Hemi. I've turned the Satellite into a clone. Always wanted a GTX but never could afford one so this is my way of coming up with one. Just need to find the engine and get it installed.

I've not done it, but I don't think that's a hard swap. You'll need an upgraded cooling system (as noted above), exhaust manifolds & some tweaking of the H-pipe most likely, throttle cable/bracket, maybe an offset power brake booster bracket to clear driver's valve cover (& associated parts) if your car has power brakes, downshift linkage might be different....not too much
