Hello There, I'm in Ireland where I'm restoring a '64 Polara sedan which is Right Hand Drive, export model made in Windsor Ontario, it's a 318 poly-block car. I was on here about 2 years ago looking for trim clips and was directed towards Joe Suchy who has been most helpful - I've since bought parts off him and got some good advice.
Having first picked the worst, laziest conscience-free scammer of a 'body man' in Ireland, I moved the car last October to a really good guy who has since spent about 300 hours redoing stuff that was badly done and doing stuff that should've been done. Now, after 3 years and 2 months the car is ready for paint BUT I really need the mix formula for Anniversary Gold - I don't mean the order code as found on Paintref. but the actual mix formula. If anyone can help with this I'd be most greatful.
I was going to use a deeper gold with more 'flake but tried a couple of samples off swatches and they just didn't look right-if I get to upload pics you'll see what I mean - it's hard to judge off a swatch what it'll actually look like ON the car. Unfortunately I didn't keep a sample before Istripped the car The last pic is 'before'
