i found a problem with the switch, someone had screwed the wiring up, they had made a wire with different pigtail connector and pushed it in the washer switch brown wire connector and connected the other in to reverse light switch socket and that made the reverse light come on when i turn the wiper switch on,i was missing one brown wire from washer switch that is where i found the other brown wire wrapped in tape and connected to reverse light socket,so now i think i am looking for two black wires for to connect to reverse light socket,i am just learning to understand the wiring charts, see pics below maybe you guys can help me figure this out with connection to reverse light socket. could thos two black wires be the ones i need for socket? please ignore the last pic. the red wire goes to firewall.please ignore last pics.thanks IMG_0245.jpgIMG_0246.jpg

I could be wrong here, but I think the two wires on the reverse light (4spd) don't go into the wiring harness at all. I believe they're wired directly to the neutral safety switch. I think one of those black wires is hot (from where I can't remember) and it runs in series, through the neutral safety switch, through the reverse light & to ground. On my car, I have a double female plug on a short pigtail coming from my main harness disconnect & two long wires going down to the neutral safety switch (not stock). Now that I think of this... the electrical connection is on the back of the main wiring disconnect, above your feet, behind the steering wheel.
