Folks,

I have a build sheet for the car listed in the title. It came out of the back seat from my car, so my seats were most likely taken from that car.

If the car still survives, I would like to reunite the sheet with the car. If you can prove you are the owner of the above car, I will give you the build sheet free of charge...
...OK, maybe you can buy me a beer! :eek:ccasion14:

Cool beans!! But are you sure your seats are not original for your car? In 83 I bought a 440 RT Challenger ragtop and I pulled one of the build sheets before selling it and it was for a /6 car. Check the sequence numbers because it might be within a few cars of yours and got thrown in instead.

I agree with Cranky if they are 70 R seat pattern. An old 68 of mine had a build sheet for a diff VIN. It's not uncommon.

I had a 70 charge 318 car and found the build sheet to a 70 rt 440 4 barrel automatic ev2 hemi orange with black stripe. Black vinyl top and 440 graphics on the hood. I made a copy of it and sent the original to the 70 charger registry.

That's a very good idea Hemi Rebel. More opportunity for the current owner to find or come across it by sending it to a good registry that's hopefully going to stay operational for a long time.

Good thought, but no such luck in this case. My car was built in California, but the build sheet is out of a Lynch Road car. They would REALLY be out of sequence for that to happen!!! :) Also, my interior has all the markings of a base interior, yet the seats are the upgraded bench seats now. Of course, there is no way I can know for sure, but all the evidence seems to point to the seats being replaced.

What would be really cool is if somehow I DID locate the owner of this car, then he (or she) might have the build sheet for my car!

...of course, I am not holding my breath on that one. Odds say the car and these seats were in a junk yard when someone pulled them, so the car may have been crushed. But you never know...

Yeah, it was in pristine shape. I found it in the drivers seat too. Not the back seat. They sent me stickers, fridge magnets and a t shirt. It was a great sounding car. I hope it is still out there somewhere
