This RO23 has been on CL or FB Marketplace for a long time. I know they started it out in the $115k+ range, now down to $85k. I know there’s parts that are not correct under the hood but why isn’t this selling? Tons of holes in the fender aprons too. Is this not a legit car? Did a quick search, didn’t see this discussed or FS here.

This is not my car. Was looking for opinions on value and whats ‘wrong’ with it. Thinking about looking at it.

Seems like a good value for what it’s supposed to be. With so few RO/WO cars it’s hard to research.

I have wondered about that car as well. It looks like it has California front plate and is listed as being in New Jersey?

The pictures are not very detailed. Hard tell if it's tubbed or not, has the Hemi only frame reinforcements, original Sheetmetal, vintage Hemi, other correct parts, etc.

Cool car for sure!

The few I have seen didn't have a horn or windshield washer reservoir, but I am far from knowledgeable on these cars. The fender tag looks legit. Does anyone know what ever happened to this car?

Look at the pictures. That is not a fully restored car. Sure look like it's got mini tubs in it. It need a full resto.

Also, it better have documentation and body number that match. Many racecars get cut up over the years. It might have "issues". I remember hearing about one here at a dealer in So Cal that had issues.

67 RO/BO's are the least desirable of the Super Stock cars. They aren't as special and unique as the others. The hood scoop and hardware is the most unique thing about them. No sound deadening, hood scoop, radio and heater delete, small 9" front drums, etc. Also it's a narrow eclectic buying audience.

I think many people would just as well have a 67 GTX or RT with a desirable color. I'd think a minitubbed Hemi GTX/RT 4spd in same condition is a 45K-65K? car.
