Road Runner Hood Emblems

I want to replace the 383 hood emblems on my 69 Road Runner. Does anyone know how to remove them? They have tapered studs and I'm thinking you have to tap them out but don't want to mess them up.

Just take the nuts off the two studs and pop them out. You shouldn't hurt anything

Unless you have an airgrabber, then I think you can get to the nuts through the rubber flaps on the ends.

Thanks. There are no nuts so maybe they are just missing. Sorry the attached picture is blurry but I think you can see well enough. Just pop em out, right?

Well that could be tricky. If they don't come out semi easily then the past owner might have put them on with some sort of adheasive or some of that 3M stuff they use on the newer call outs.
