rock act i regret not seeing…

Allison Krause and union station played at Merriweather which is local and we have seen many shows there over the years.
She was boring, we left
I am a big fan of bluegrass and have seen many acts as the DC metro area was a hotbed of the genre.
But I will not bother to see her again
Shame because she can sing.
I was considering seeing her in V Cleveland this year. Wife doesn’t like bluegrass so I didn’t bring it up.

For me, I wish I would have seen Motörhead.
The Pretenders in the early days.

I was 7 when he died. An older friend of mine saw him in '67 in a small venue in Madison, WI.
In the early 80s when I worked part time in a grocery store. I was in awe when a coworker about 5 years older than me told me he’d seen Hendrix in concert. He was around 10 when he went to a Monkees concert, and some promoter in his infinite wisdom had booked Hendrix as the opening act for a Monkees tour.
I asked him what he thought of Hendrix, seeing him live, he replied he scared him!

Ozzy, No more Tours tour 2. Had awesome seats, then he hurt himself again/or ill, rescheduled..Then the "Rona" happened. Flat out cancelled the tour..

Creed will be here in August, and I know if I don't go, I will regret it. And yes Creed is awesome!

I had tickets for the 1979 Zeppelin concert at the Pontiac Silverdome when Bonham died and they cancelled the show.

Johnny Cash was coming to town at the Power Center in Ann Arbor, a quaint little venue. I asked my brother if he wanted to go, he said “no, we’ll catch him next time”. He never toured again!

Beau Jocque was playing at the Frog Island festival and I had a gig that night, so my wife and infant daughter went. He was dead 3 weeks later

Now, I got tickets to Stevie Ray Vaughn at Pine Knob, so my cousin and I took a couple of girls we knew, he was dead 3 weeks later as well. Side note, my cousin was too petrified to talk to the girl he took, and the girl I took turned out to be a snotty little B, so we swapped girls and I got along great with the girl he picked, and he and the dud never said a word to each other. That was a win for me!

We've actually bee seeing acts that "have a lot of songs you know" and "are getting up there".

The first was Tom Petty in '17.
Iron Maiden in '18.
Phil Collins (for my wife) in '23.
Then Kiss around the same time.
I managed to see Foghat around 2004, right before Rod Price died.
Saw Ozzfest also in '04.
Then Rush around 2005 a few years before Neil Peart died.

I regret not seeing April Wine around 2018 when I had a partial opportunity.
I regret not seeing The Fixx about 2 years ago.

I got to see Metallica in '88, '89 and '91.
