Which direction to the oiling holes point, towards the valves or towards the intake?
 
All the pictures in my book show them pointing at the valve's but am not 100 % sure.
 
I would think that because of the angle of the heads and position of the valve train you would be correct but I wanted to ask to make sure.
 
the shafts should be positioned with the oil holes down and pointing toward the outside of the engine.
