I think the engine i have has some misplaced rockers. Looks like some aren't hitting the valve stems correctly. Can I just take the assembly off and rearrange them

Yep, the off-sets are wrong.....make sure the oiling holes in the shafts are facing down and lined up correctly too, check the other side too!!

WOW !!!! question has this engine been fired...looks awful dry if it has....

Like mentioned check the oiling holes, stack the rockers correctly, and before reinstallation check valve stems to see if they have been tulliped. The ladder portion about the valve is if the engine has been run in this configuration. Probably would not hurt to check anyway better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the input!! As for being dry, its been out of the car for awhile, and has had a new cam installed. I don't think its been run in yet. Dave

that would explain the dry look.... and just to make sure...you are understanding what is being said bout the proper alignment, of rocker arm to valve stem tip correct??????

I have some roller rockers cheap if ur interested. I am getting new heads soon and will be using different brand and ratios
