What are you guys using or suggest? Back in the day it was just standard 3M compound or Syntheticut. Final wet sand will be with 2000 grit. Appreciate any help
I’ll second Wizard compound and polish - hands down the finest polishes I have ever used. I couldn’t make any headway on polishing my PPG single stage black paint out on my ERA Cobra I built using Liquid Ice and 3M products. The Auto Body Forum was a big sponsor of Wizard products so I decided to give their compound a try. Sanding scratches just melted away and left a beautiful, slick surface and gloss. After a few years I picked up their polish product not thinking it could really do anything further. But I was wrong - it even took it up to another level yet.
I remember back in the day when they came with grits finer than were custom to using I laughed at a rep and I said said that's like using spit and toilet paper used use heavy duty 3m compounds
