Can't find any exact measurements for the placement of the tail stripe. I would think a dimension from the back of the stripe to the backside of the decklid would be standard? I would think the Bee should be centered on the body line and the rear reflector centered in the stripe, but that would still leave some variance up top. Anybody got any helpful info?

If it's similar to the Charger, then you could ask 747Mopar because the one on his Charger looks incredible . . .

Purdy sure I put the measurements that worked in my thread. A bit different than David P's given directions but close.. I'll go look !

Post #862 and down. PG had 4.5" in their paperwork, I found 4" from the end of the QUARTER (not the filler cap) worked nice.

In a perfect world, the reflector is centered in the stripe. Very rarely happened, most are off center by quite a bit. I have seen the Bee down as far as overlapping the reflector housing.

I installed mine just as the factory did replicating the original stripe on the car. They obviously didn't think too much about it back in the day.

Another detail if you are OEM nuts like me is the stripe on the right side of the trunk rarely matched the quarter. My only explanation for this is most people are right handed and would start from the left working to the right. I have seen very few originals that actually line up.

Thanks Darrin. And no, I am not as OEM nuts as you, lol. What do you have for a measurement from the back of the stripe to the rear of the quarter? Close to the 4" that Wayne has? Also, do you remember what the white paint mix was?

I'd guess Darrin's is at 4.5 as his side stripe is standing straighter than mine and still located samespot at the bottom edge, reflector not centered. That is what I had found using PG's dimensions and used 4" instead to get my reflector centered.

Guys,

On lunch break from my basement office!!! I will get some dimensions tonight when I am done with work. I don't have a recipe for the white paint. I took the stripe to the shop and said "match this".

Something else is sticking out at me looking at everyone's pictures. What is the casting number on the reflector housings you all have posted? Mine looks different and is in the minority. It could just be the angle of the picture to.

Those are what I have in the car. My reflectors are NOS pieces with the 2 way tape behind them. Must just be the camera angle.
