No headlamp relays originally but adding relays is highly recommended. Still sounds like a ground issue in that forward harness.

Thanks, that will help a lot. While all my front harness is in fantastic visual condition, it's all been painted black. So now i'll know at least what is supposed to be black. Ole'lady works late tonite, so i'll have time to spend with my baby and play with her headlights.

Found the issue right away,.... went straight to checking the dim pass. light which knowing they daisy chained the grounds, led me to the connector at the high beam. As soon as i monkeyed with that connector the low beam would flash and kick and scream. Grounds in the high beam, green and corroded. Pulled the terminal apart, wire wheeled it, added an additional ground to the core support and now they're shining like new! Thanks for the help on this. .... now for a cocktail, and quartz clock conversion.
