Found this on eBay about 12 years ago, about an hour and a half from me. Nobody bid on it so I contacted the seller went down to look at it and brought it home. It is a rust-free 71 Charger Special Edition, 383, ac, auto, B5 car out of San Antonio Texas. I have no fender tag or build sheet for the car and the original drivetrain is long gone so I basically have an open canvas to clone a Super Bee, a B body I've always wanted. Located a nice clean original Super Bee hood for it this time last year and it went to the body shop last July. it is in final primer as of December 2018 and is waiting for me to final block it and cut everything in. I got a complete rear end from a 71 Charger RT parts car that had 440 Hemi leaf springs and 323 Sure Grip, front end is all new with Moog parts. I have a 71 383 HP motor to go into it and drive it around until I can get the 3rd gen Hemi conversion for it. it was originally bench seat car column shift and is now bucket seats with slapstick. Paint will be high-impact GY3 with Super Bee badges. 12 years it sat, can't wait!
