RV cam timing?

I have an LA 360 with an RV cam. What should the timing be?

Ignition timing or cam timing? Which RV cam?

Wish I knew which cam. The local machine shop offered an "RV" cam when I asked for a mild upgrade. They said it would not change the the the timing. But I don't know what that is. I am thinking to adjust my HEI distributor with a timing light. That's the only timing I know. What is the cam timing? Does the distributor adjust the ignition time?

Cam timing is cam to crankshaft timing. Also sets timing for valve open/close relation to pistons.

Ignition timing is set via the distributor...so, yes.
