Saharan Sand Storm

No reason why it wouldn’t make it, not that it matters. Dunno about y’all but we get smoke from Japanese fires, ash from volcanoes all over the world, and unbearable smoke from Alaska forest fires. During WWII (the big one) Japan launched balloons that had incendiary bombs on them with the intent of starting forest fires in North America. Several made it to the continent and even killed a couple of school kids in Oregon that found one. Dust should be a slam dunk.
And my handle on this site is just a coincidence. It’s a long story.
There's a thread on here somewhere about where or what our user names came from.....or start a new one....

Saharain dust any better than Gobi dust???
Probably not. Did see a program recently about the benefits of it but this site will show both the down and up side.... https://www.independent.co.uk/envir...didnt-know-about-red-dust-storms-9232879.html

If the sunsets are as cool as mentioned I hope you guys post pictures. We don't get that many nice sunsets because the mountains block a lot of the western horizon.

That's one of the few good things about living on the Gulf Coast. The skies are usually always cool looking. Had thunder showers off and on today and even raining with the sun shining at times. Blue sky to the east, black sky to the west and a mix to the north and south.

We used to call raining while the sun is shining something...cant remember what though. Had a name for it...
