Hello Everyone. I am posting a photo illustrating two carb options, that I am particularly interested in at the moment. I realize that much more information than has been given to you here, is normally required to best give any advice about best choices or setups of this nature, when seeking to maximize performance... That said, I am simply looking for your general comments, should you wish to share your opinions, be they (good or bad), pertaining to the two equipment options, I am currently looking at for my Mopar S-N-C. :)

Single Holley and performer rpm for me. Now, I'm not saying the 850 would be the right one... It might be perfect for your Saturday cruiser, I don't know. I would go single route because I wouldn't have fun trying to make sure two carbs are working together for a cruiser. I'm sure folks that are comfortable with two carbs may advise differently, that's my thought. Really depends on what you want and are willing to do and what you actually do with the car.

Good luck with your quest!

What's wrong with the 770 that's on the car now ?
Nothing really.
It was the recommended carb for my initial build and street application.
My mistake was buying the Electronic Choke model, as I prefer using an exact [on/off] Manual Choke.
So... I'm revisiting my options with it in mind to upgrade at the same time... :)

Dual carbs have a little more cool factor when the hood is open.
Indeed they do !!! but I was recently told to avoid a dual quad street setup, like the plague. These caught my eye, but ...

As cool as these carbs are... unfortunately ALTERNATE fuel carbs, are all wrong
for my snakeskin green cruiser application. Boo.

I'm a big fan of the dual quad set-up. But saying that and applying them to a cruiser would not be very practical. You have to have them tuned in concert with each other. If you were going to race it and have a compatible motor I would go that direction. Just for cruising I would go with the single 4 barrel.

You could also consider a six pack option a run with 3 deuces. That's what I have on my built 68 GTX.

My vote goes to if it's running fine leave it be. You'll never see those green metering blocks under the air cleaner anyway ! A bunch of my buddies are die hard edelbrock guys, always telling me to ditch my holley....just because it's a holley. Both my cars run great, after the initial tune they need nothing but fuel flow !

I have the Quick Fuel carb and RPM intake
