If it's cheap, if you can get a title for it and if you want to start learning how to do sheet metal restoration then get busy! You could come out on the other side of this with skills that help carry you through the rest of your life.

I'm just curious and don't want to horn in on anybody's "find".
We don't have space for anymore cars, time to work on them and we don't really need parts for the ones that we already have.
(I know, you can always use extra parts but, we just don't have any room to store them for a "maybe" someday.)


Is this place just a little East of Austin with a bunch of Mopars and you can't see them from the road?
Hubby went to a place with his brother several years ago that sounds a lot like the place that you mentioned. He said you wouldn't know they were there unless you were told about them. He also said around 200- 250 cars were there. That's a lot of cars to move, even if he got started awhile ago. And if he did, wonder what he's got left.....

No it is not East of Austin, I don't think the guy has many more mopar's seems to be more Chevy/Ford. Id love to know about this place though, I will know more after today about what this guy has. Maybe we can share story's at that point?

Picked her up today, man is she a mess, I am glad I got her but think I am just going to flip it. Ive honestly thought about making a bed out of the front and back, or a couch out of the rear or a self from the front but dont think id want to get into restoring it. I will get more pictures when its daylight.

Just a few thoughts, if you don't already know this.

Try to save the hood if it isn't completely rusted out, they are 1 year only parts and very hard to find decent ones.

The front fenders if any good at all are prized by the Wing Car fanatics. I believe those fenders are used on Superbirds and to make a clone. Again hard to find decent fenders.

Front grille and trim are also 1 year only parts, depending on condition, could be worth some money to someone.

Cool thing about the pass fender is it's still got the mini badge on it. Basically all the body is rusted out on the lower parts of the panels. Not sure if people want them or not in that condition.

You'll be surprised what people will buy if there's no others around! Take lots of pictures and be completely honest. Let them make offers. I've sold stuff I was getting ready to throw on the metal pile. Guy was thrilled to get mine because his was completely toasty.

I put it on Craigslist for $900 and already have a ton of offers, maybe I went to cheap on it... Id love to see someone use this for something, poor thing has a license plate that was last registered in 1978 so didn't get much life to live...

That is funny, thanks for that but the reason I ask is that if it is in fact a 440 car(doubtful) there will be a V in the vin for engine code and he is alleging that it's one of 599 which is how many 4 speed V-codes were made.

I am at work and cant get to the car till later this evening, with how much interest there is in this car it may be gone today. I am just going off what the previous owner said which is a 70 year old man who has had it nearly 20 years. He doesn't have much of a reason to lie about it for how cheap he sold it but you never know...
