Scam alert

I think the best response is no response.
When you reply with anything you confirm a live number

Thanks a lot Mike.
That was just me trying to collect some EZ Pass toll $ for when I delivered your monthly prizes recently.
And that's the response I get?

I keep getting messages that say I have a phone message, voice mail.
Or that my credit card is being used to buy stuff.

Like the OP, I reply for them to go pleasure themselves and then block em. And the texts keep coming.

I see the DMV is giving out your cell # now. Got this text today.
It’s amazing that my cell # is connected to my License tag. Lol

I get very similar text messages from our Transport Agency - much the same pattern of text.

Of course I don't reply, I just block and report......although I do like your reply.

I did however make the same reply to our Medical Authority just after the Lockdowns here...... :) I saved that one.

Fuck reply text hazed.jpg

I also have been getting them, so I just block them and delete them without a response. The funny thing is that here in NV, we do not have any toll roads and bridge tolls, so right away, I know it is a scam setup!!! Desperate folks in desperate times, I guess...Yet it is surprising how many people out there will blindly follow along and then get ripped off like no one's business:realcrazy::realcrazy::realcrazy:...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

I got a call last week that showed Wells Fargo Bank on the caller ID. The asian man on the line said that they had a couple of suspect transactions on my credit card starting with ####. That was a business card that I closed over a year ago so I told him that I didn't believe he was with Wells Fargo. He asked me what the caller ID said. I told him Wells Fargo and he said there's your proof. My response? Well, I told him if he'd lick my hairy white *** clean, and do a good job of it, we could talk. End of conversation. Works every time in every situation. And it's entertaining. So the scammers are manipulating caller ID now to promote their scams. Trust no one on the phone!

When I get through with them they usually cuss me out for every name in the book and hang up on me!
It’s funny to hear a Nigerian cuss me out using English. I’m called a mudderfuuccer right before they hang up. Lol

If somebody emails you, texts, or calls you for money, 99.99% it’s a scam. If there is something that you legally owe you will get a letter in the mail. Scammers can’t use USPS because it would be mail fraud, and they know this.

Heh.....

Just got a call a few minutes ago saying I had a $10,000 fine owed to the City of Tacoma that required my immediate attention.

I then asked for the case number for said fine.........and he hung up on me.....

Guess I must've asked the wrong question......I am soooooooo disappointed

I’m sure that’s the reason they don’t do it by mail , besides being more work for them. I wonder when it will finally be a crime scamming folks via phone and internet. Probably too hard to catch them I suppose

All of my BS calls are displayed as "Potential Spam", so when I do answer the call, I always greet them with "HELLO POTENTIAL SPAM, would you like some potential eggs and toast to go with that?"

99% of the time.....I get a great big click in my ear.....

I got the Pa. Turnpike one yesterday.. I know I still have a balance and they don’t have my #… Deleted and Marked as trash.
