So today I found a ‘69 charger rt se for sale on marketplace for 24k which is a really good deal but its a scam however and I found the same exact one on bring a trailer that sold in 2021 so beware of scammers on marketplace

Yeah I grew suspicious when they wanted payment first and I couldn’t look at the car. I asked for a photo of the title and she didn’t respond to it. The first tell tale sign of a scam that I should’ve acknowledged is any charger listed for 24 grand lol

Many times on the FB if you click on the seller and look at other items posted, you will find the same picture for sale in like 14 states LOL.
But really, if it is too good to be true, it is. Especially if it is a nice clean looking vehicle.
In WI, they use rust free toyota trucks LOL. "holy hell! a rust free 2006 toyota for 3 grand! I bet it's already sold! Martha grab your coat!!"

The scams are pervasive, and don't bother reporting. Facebook does nothing about it. I reported a single car for sale in about 20 different ads, sellers, and locations.... all rejected by FB as "meeting their standards". And it's not limited to sellers. I think there are actually even more buyer scammers.

Sad very sad. Even my '66 Coronet wagon I sold year's earlier showed up for sale with even my pictures in my yard. I called the guy I sold it to and he said no way I'm not selling it it's a scam.
Reported but never heard any response.
Just be smart buy in person only I say, we work hard for our money.

I just had some parts I listed on another one of Joey's sites show up for sale on Facebook!! Scammers are alive and well.

No, the first telltale sign it is a scam is the price. It is low enough to take advantage of people's greed and they always want to put some sort of expediency about the deal so you don't have time to think it through. The mopar for sale groups are wrought with scammers. I always take extra precautions and look at the seller's profile. Most are created the week the ad was listed. So many actually list where they are really from. Lol. Like africa, puerto rico, india, etc. It's pathetic.

I personally know someone who was a victim to a scam. He's a knowledgeable car guy who has a few cars. He spotted a Mopar he had the hots for, and it cost him. It was a rare Mopar for a price too good to be true, so he jumped at the bait. He told me after it happened, and I told him I could've advised him it was a scam instantly.
