Trying to get a grasp on what I need for my 62 Plymouth and a trans cooler is on the list. I have an idea on what I want but cannot seem to find it.

318 poly is going back in the car in front of the 727 tf. Lines are now running to and from the the radiator. I would like to find a long thin cooler to mount to the lower half of the radiator. And would like it to hook up to stock size hard fittings. Line is 5/16" o.d. but I am not sure thread size yet. I am already getting a roll of steel line to redo the trans lines with double flare ends.

I want to stay away from rubber lines that mount on barb fittings. Opening is around 21" wide but I have no issue with fabbing up a mounting bracket for installation of a smaller width unit.

What do you recommend?

They come in a verity of sizes and shapes. Many also come with fittings, but, not always for a hard line installation. A small one is fine for a stock engine & some towing. Try poking around Summitracing.com.
