I hate thief's so much so I own my own alarm company, dumb bastards. Sorry to hear you lost so much hope the cops get it back for you

Sorry to hear! What's the story on almost catching him? In Texas, if someone is stealing from your property (especially at night), it's pretty much thief beware. Texas is one of many concealed carry states...but when someone is stealing from your property, you don't need to be concealing anything but many have their license here and many times, it's benefited the victim.

Thanks guys.
no insurance been floor sanding for 30 yrs never had a problem-I am a one man now but have machinery to get going by Monday.

Almost caught him as I heard the van start ,he needs to do a u turn as I live in a dead end.So by the time I got out he was (really pushing it ) 40 feet in front of me .Smash through the drivers window with my under the bed (persuader ) metal bar . I may of clipped him......jump in the wife's car and sped after him.Unfortunatley my street ends in a number of turns .....I got the wrong one.

i have a lead as to who it could be as a neighbour 4 houses down is getting floors sanded and think it could be one of the guys who gave them a quotation last week. So tomorrow I'm asking the owner who came to quote the work.( usually 3 quotes) so that narrows it to 2 .

I'm relieved in a way as I think if I got him I may have spent the holidays in jail....I'm 6'1"
press 340 and can do the 100 pretty quick....but not when I'm half wake .lol.

The story will continue .......

Man, I hate thieves and I hope you got a good hit at him! My driveway is over 120 feet long and I park in a manner that makes it a bit hard to get out quickly. I also keep a .45 and a 12ga close by but for the most part, I can park inside the garage but there are times I can't. One of my trucks that is always outside is hard to start unless you know how so there's no worry about that one lol.

It is the most vile THEFT of all in my opinion.
A "LOW LIFE" who does not work, stealing a Working individuals "Work Van w/ his tools on-board"
Usually because said Lowlife does not want to work.
Sad

Not that long ago in this country and probably yours, if you stole a mans horse, you got a rope thrown around your neck........don't see why it shouldn't be any different now a days. Lot less folks would be stealing cars.

Sorry to hear Tim...Damn thief is a parasite. Hope you get you van/tools back and he gets what he deserves in the end.

this country is not what it use to be its sad to say, look they got a fat convict that they dont want to exacute because he's to f'n fat why not hang him ,o they can't find a rope big enough ,well shoot him by firing squad , fry his *** , gas his *** ,why do we have to pay for these bastards ,if you catch a thief cut his hand off ,lets get back to the basic's,:DMAGE:sorry that I got off track ,just a rant

scum bag thiefs

:iamwithstupid: ossietim, it's sad to hear your van & tools got ripped off by some freaken' low life scum bag thief, I've had a bunch of my construction tools stolen from my truck a couple times, years ago now, once in S.F. got hit for probably $10k+ in tools/materials & once in Oakland Calif., caught the guy in Oakland, ran him down, tackled him on the sidewalk, hit him, broke his jaw, then held him for the Police, while a bunch of people harassed me from the local street corner, he stole a 8" worm-drive skill-saw & a saws-all in the case, right in-front of the dealership we were working on, out of the back of the truck, with my crew watching, freaken dumb *** it slowed him down some, his accomplice ran into some grocery store, never found that guy, he didn't have the tools anyway, we were looking for him for a while at the site everyday, I even offered my crew & carpenters a reward if someone saw him & caught him, at a later date, fortunately they didn't steal the trucks too, keys were in all of them out front at the curb...LOL... I hope you find the guy & get your stuff back unharmed...

I feel for you, I don't know what I would do if I lost my work van.
New thing around here is the follow ups, fedex, and take the packages off your porch.
WTF is this country coming to!

ossie, wouldn't you like 5 min in a room with that perpetrator,,,and Bitch-slap the helllllll out of him? or her?

It really sucks when somebody has to steal the fruits of someone else's hard work or livelyhood. I hope you catch the person responsible and send him to one of those outback gator hunters. Maybe they could use some free gator bait.
