Ok so I am installing my seat belts in my car but how are they ran to the front seat....though the middle of the seat (bench) or under the seat leaning it forward to pass though also in the back how are they installed as male and female ends? I know this should be simple but things are not looking right. :eusa_doh:

What car is this? They should pass through the seat. There should be a slit when you fold the seat on the base of the seat not the seat back. On my scamp there is a plastic piece the belt goes through.

For the backs the adjustable female end should be towards the center of the car is i am not mistaken. They just go through between the seat and back.

What are you putting them in? Here are some pages from the 1970 Plymouth service manual:

Brain dead today. 1968 Bee I do have a service manual but again my brain did not tell me to look there. I also did not see any spots for them to go though for the front but I will look again.
