My ‘65 Ply BelvyII. Is looking like an ole Ford pick up ! Dragging its butt with the wheelbase looking altered the wrong way( towards the back) now the Mopar SS springs that are in it are only 4 years old are laying pretty flat & I don’t get why. It’s a street car with little mileage too. Even more reason I don’t get why their flat. any thoughts would be appreciated.
 
ESPO, everyone swears by them... super nice people, order a new set.

P.S. it just sounds like you got bad springs is all, nothing else will really cause a car to droop that hard in the back

Yes, nice folks, reasonable prices, and top notch service.
 
Late production ss springs have gotten a terrible reputation for doing exactly what you describe.
At some point, Mopar changed supplier, and the new springs aren't much good.
I've got Mexican built 456/457 ss springs on my car for fifteen years, no sagging. If they sagged, the fender would be laying on the tires, lol.
Espo will build you a good spring to your order.....
 
A real pisser that they didn't last very long! I wouldn't recommend getting them re-arched like I have done to my stock springs as the cars rear end will end up being way too high in the air, unless you don't mind installing blocks. Depending on where you are in Ontario, Eaton Detroit Spring could be closer and I've heard good things about them.

Eaton has treated me well over the years,I have their springs on my 63 right now.
I have never used ESPO but have heard nothing but good from people that use their products.

Thank you gents.being from Canada I’ve not heard of the vendors your talking about. But, will look into them , appreciate it. I’d never re arch. to me it’s a waste of good fun money.

For sure , an few miles . Really didn’t get my moneys worth. South western Ontario is where we kill tires. Thank you I’ll look into them

I read another gent said he is running 2 lefts SS springs. I seem to be having a Blonde moment. Lefts are stiffer? Gosh the ole girls been in moth balls 3 yrs now an my head feels like it’s 10 or more. Completely put my head in the sand in her regards.
Im also weighing Caltrac split mono leafs& accessories. Potentially more street/strip use as the young lad has picked up cars now to
 
Passenger sides are stiffer, and usually higher (I called bs a few times when people claimed their car sat crooked with ss springs..... till I went out and measured mine.... they were right)
When someone uses two rights or lefts they are kinda defeating the purpose, just to keep the *** end level.
There are extra half leaves on the passenger side to counteract the physics of axle housing rotation.
Edit: even the stock mopars with trac pak or super track pack suspension packages had more leaves on the passenger side.
