Hope this doesn't sound like I'm prying into peoples business, because that's not the idea here. But, I've noticed there are so many cars for sale here and the list grows everyday. Are there that many people just using the site to sell their Mopars because ths is obviously a hotspot for them? Are there more people like me who buy a car and sell it off later after realizing they don't have the time to finish it or something shinier comes along? Or is it more of an economy thing? Down where I am, the economy isn't quite as bad. It could be better, but not as bad as some places I've seen. I do have to say, if I hit hard times(and I have before) the project car would be first to go( and it always was).

Just wondering

Just curious what condition and how much for the 1967 belvedere convertible you have for sale?

Personally i think it's a good place to sell a B body mopar even an A or E body. Although those should be posted on our sister site, one of us may be looking for THAT car. Idk maybe it's just me, i don't really see a problem.

I don't see a problem using the site to sell a Mopar of any kind, it just seems like there's an awlful lot of them for sale vs. cars being rebuilt/restored.

When most people put a car up for sale they are going to use every venue available to get the word out especially if it is free. That is the very way that Moparts got it's start years ago by offering free classifieds. Free classifieds are typical and one of the driving forces that make a web site grow. Often first time posters with a for sale ad become regulars.

As far as this being a hotspot for SELLING Mopars I think not. Mostly because many people today simply aren't in a position to buy. I see many, many comments in for sale ads stating in effect " if I only had the cash."

I think that the core membership here are working class people that can't afford high $$ cars and are doing well just to keep what they have.

Just follow the ads posted as I have for the past few years and see how many of them ever get marked sold. Or better yet ask if the car is still for sale.

Economy plays a roll

I think the economy has an effect on project cars; after all they are sometimes the only thing of value that you could sell to pay bills. Family needs before mine!

I have been thinking of selling my 39K Duster, /6 3 speed; but would hate to let it go, it is the only Mopar I have on the road. When you need $$$ to repair a house to sell I have no choice but to sell it. :(

Besides if it is gone I can concentrate on the Charger!
