I need help decreasing the shifting time and/or getting a harder shift out of my 727 Transmission that is behind a mild built 360.

Going from 1-2 at 6000 RPMS the tranny takes a good amount of time to shift. I'd say about 1 - 1.5 second shifts. I've been looking at shift improvers and shift kits. I want to check with you guys to see which ones you recommend? I had a transgo shift kit prior to rebuilding the tranny and it would chirp the tires. Any thoughts?

Thanks

is the kick down rod adjusted correctly?
it needs to be fully back at full throttle. it sounds like it is going fully back before full throttle

Yeah, I've adjusted it many different ways. Right now I have it partially on at idle and full at full throttle.

The kit I went with is a TransGo SF TF 727.

It says it fixes what I've been having the biggest problems with; Hard shift into reverse, Slow mushy shift 1-2, Slow delayed shift 2-3.

I had this version in on a broken 727 awhile back, Thing chirped the tires with a stock 318.
