I'm not suggesting you don't know this, but IMO when a 6 Pak/6bbl is ON tune, MAN-OH-MAN! what a kick in the butt!!
I even had a Dual Band Innovate Motorsports O2 sensor system installed to track and see LIVE A/F ratio status AND Data Logging.
It took a while and a number of tweaks and parts, like the ProMax rear carb angled idle mixture screw plate, jetable outboard carb plates, and the ProMax center carb metering block, but WOW!
Whether I slow-rolled into the outboard carbs opening or STOMPED it, once I got my 6bbl straight on my 440, it is one of "those" great American muscle car experiences!

I too have the dual band AFR gauge and Promax secondary plates. I definitely feel when the secondaries open and love it. Have a few tweaks left to make. And hopefully Woodruff gets this one secondary back in order.

Again, not to suggest you don't know this, but having an ignition system that allows about 20° total advance at idle, even moreso if you have a HP cam of the caliber of the 292°/.509 or hotter, and then a limiter to prevent over advance under load at part throttle, and all in REALLY makes for a much cleaner idle, less build-up on spark plugs, and in my experience eliminated the make my eyes water rich "refinery" smell.
I was amazed over the years and the intimate "tuning for perfection" sessions how MUCH a 6bbl can benefit from a flexible, adjustable, high quality ignition system!
The hotter the cam, the more critically important the center carb aftermarket metering block is!!
