My favourite car in the world, by far, has always been a 1964 Polara with a Hemi. I've always wanted one...
So instead...in 2007, I bought a 1973 Challenger. Just a shell. I was watching Cut Chop and Rebuild on TV and thought that me and 3 friends could build an entire car from scratch over a weekend. TV never lies after all... Yeah...So I sold the 1973 Challenger.

So instead...in 2009 I bought a 1972 Dart. It had a slant 6. By my own admission, one of the best cars I have ever owned...but I felt inadequate compared to my friends, so I bought a 5.7 Hemi to put in it before aftermarket parts were available.... Yep...so I sold the 1972 Dart.

So instead...in 2013, I bought a 1964.........Valiant. (Oh....so close....I got the year right...) A 500HP race car beast from West Virginia...spent 7 years trying to pass inspection....province would never let me put it on the road. Ugh...up for sale it goes....

So instead...in 2020 I bought 1956 Dodge Regent two door hard top sitting in a barn...very rare car. Spent 2 years working on it. Ended up in a magazine. A stunning automobile. The car worked perfectly... for 14 seconds... before something new would break... it's up for sale right now.
Did you know...My favourite car in the world, by far, has always been a 1964 Polara with a Hemi. I've always wanted one...
So 4 days ago....I purchased a 1964 Polara with a Hemi in it.
As god is my witness...for the first time in 16 years... I haven't looked at single classified ad in 4 days...
There may be hope after all.
So...what say yee....should you just wait, save, and get what you always wanted from the beginning...or take the long journey around?
