Making mine more street friendly now. First and third pics are from last year. Picture #2 is current. Still running the 496" six pack, with a stock height filter element, but I have removed the A990 grille and installed a stock one, removed the hood with scoop and installed my spare stock one. Swapped the 4.10 for a 3.23. now trying to gather the parts for a 4 speed conversion in order to get rid of the high stall and manual shifted 727.

Other than a little polishing and tuning, I finished up this morning. Headers are gone in favor of 68-69 manifolds, engine is repainted that god-awful turquoise, graphics removed and car repainted, black lid on air filter. Hope that I have achieved the subtle look that I was after. Thanks to everyone for their help especially with the 4 speed swap. Anybody looking for a stock '65 727 or an '65 A990 clone trans? I've got both.

65 Coronet 500

The 500 is an original 426 wedge 4spd.with factory A/C.Sat in a wrecking yard for 30 years was mostly complete.The yard was closed all those years!Finished it a couple of years ago now. The AWB is going to be a 540 injected on alky,when I get it done,Too many projects going on at one time!!

Thanks joe mopar! the color was a special order for the b bodies in 65 it is Daffodil Yellow and it is original to this one.
