All new rubber bushings, tie rods and joints.MP xhd torsion bars. I added 2 extra leafs to the rear springs. KYB shocks (the ones everyone says are too stiff) 2 inch lowering blocks on the rear. I aligned it at home with a string and a bubble level. Max caster, 1/2 degree neg. camber. 1/16" toe in. I resealed the power steering box, adjusted it nice and tight. Also rebuilt the steering coupler.Other than the massive tires, what,if anything did you do to the suspension? Mine will need new shocks at a minimum. It is more boat like right now.
That really good. Wallace Racing calculator, based on weight and time, says you should have around 515 hp to pull that weight through the traps.
Thanks.
Not sure what calculator you used, and which "horsepower" it gives. It's most accurate to use trap mph and weight, not et. Also, the mph, corrected to J607 standard conditions is over 122 mph. And finally, this is still a "net" horsepower number verses an engine gross horsepower number you get from the engine dyno
I was just curious what the hp might be with the info given. Running a heavy body full interior first generation Charger in the 11's is awesome.
Thanks.
Just pointing out that you can, and will get several different hp answers from on line calculators and you need to understand the details of those if you want to get anything meaningful from them.
I didn't expect it to be accurate.
Then you do understand
Brand new with 425hp they were around 14.1 ish. If you add 100hp per second....Not yet -- what does your 508 dyno at? Curious how much hp it takes to send a 4150 lb full interior Charger through the 1/4 mile in 11's. Somewhere between 520 and 600? I suspect on the higher end. Automatic? with 323 gears.
