Yeah that's too bad. Still See things like that too often.

Send it to graveyard cars with some great story and they will bring it back to life. All it needs is a VIN

I think It is. That could have been a great car for someone. As far as 73/74 cars go, that would be the ideal body to have.

I passed on this 73 last month. CHEAP, but I figured there isn't much interest in these.

yah that'll buff out!

mother earth claims another one

One thing for sure is if you dont ask the question, the answer is already known as "NO". True, you can not save them all, but once its turned into re-bar, a future gearhead can not put it back, drag race it etc..It has value as it sits either as a future project or parts to put another back on the road. Last I checked the weren't making anymore 72-74 b-cudas and AMD is currently repopping metal. Lots of spares in other peoples storage as well. Looks fairly complete to me, my .02

Thanks for the response, if this were closer, I would pick it up. It certainly is priced right. I had someone by just last week looking for a chally project.

This is sad, the worst thought for me is knowing the chances are good that these old Mopars are flattened, shredded and sent to China.
Then we go into Harbor freight and buy the cheap $hit back. Oh well.......

The 67 belvedere I'm working on sat along side a well traveled highway for years. I went by it everyday for about 8 years thinking to myself it must not be for sale. One day I drove by and they were having a yard sale so I stopped in. The wife was around and I ask her if the car was for sale. She said strange that you ask, the night before she and her husband decided to sell it. She said over the years hundreds of people stopped and asked but up until then he was going to fix it up. Talk about being at the right place at the right time. For now my motto is always stop and ask. you never know.

Doesn't a 72 look like that as well?

I personally would love to have this car

I know its only a barracuda 72-74 but its still a E body but at this point its so rusty i didn't even look at the floors i could only imagine

The barracuda is a fine car in those years. The challenger went a little off the rails in the grille department but all in all i would still take it in a second. I understand where barr restoration is coming ng from not wanting to buy it if the intention is to flip it cause the profit isnt there, but for a personal project or family or father son project? They are great. It just pisses me off seeing them rot like this. Its basically a metaphor for our country imho.

If that is the Cuda Sitting Near Harrisburg along routes 11 and 15 It has been rotting there for at least 20 years. It used to have a Tarp or something on it until it rotted off.
