...With factory air! Thanks. This one belonged to my buddy "Mongo" who passed away a couple of years ago - he was into the 66/67 Fairlanes and big Fords. He built the car in our shop with help from another buddy who is good at body work. I made myself available for a few things here and there during the build. As a fitting tribute to Mongo it took first at the Fairlane mini meet in Modesto last year. I have been told by Ford guru's this is a rare combination and I'll be getting a Marti report on it.

Nice pics! Thanks for taking the time.

Factory Air, that's cool...LOL... The 289ci cars were the only ones, one was a convertible too 66 Fairlane 500 "I think", that I remember that had factory air of the cars 66-67's my Step father owned, I don't remember the GTA 390ci or XL Ranchero 390ci cars/pick em' ups having A/C, but that was many moons ago, they could have, but I don't think they did, but maybe his White w/black vinyl top/interior GTA did, it was a highly optioned car, I was 8-10 y/o or so, when he got the GTA car used, he sold it a couple years latter to buy my sister a 65 Corvair Turbo Monza/Spyder convertible for driving to H.S., I wish he would have kept it..

Ive heard of the Marti report Meep, kind of like a Galen Glover Mopar thing with the Ford, I think you can get reproduction tags and original invoices thru them to.. Good deal and cool car!

Thanks For Posting,
I went to the All Mopar Show At Bakers. Next year I'd like to attend the Red Barn Show.
I Love The Plymouth You Have.
You were parked next to my 68 Charger at The last Flushing A Cruise.
I hope we can meet up soon at a cruise.
Mike Z.

Thanks,Mike. That Charger of his is NICE,folks! I just got back from a cool show out in Otisville;took pics, but haven't downloaded them yet. Think I'll just add them to this thread.

The headers on this thing were wild. No off-the-shelf units here;this was a totally custom set.

Ya man! that whole car you got to love!

Holy crap! Talk about a shoe horn job on that Barracuda. What the hell is with that air duct filter up front? Geez.

Good use of a W motor in that hot rod.
