What you're doing has no effect on my Moto G5 phone or my Amazon Fire Tablet. I can't increase the screen fonts but I can only increase the font of what I see as I type a reply. However, once I post the reply the font goes to the default size for posts in the thread.
I have to guess its your browser -- have you checked if it needs to be updated?

I've tried 2 Android devices and 3 or 4 different browsers with the same results. I suspect your new software doesn't play well with Android OS. The site looks fine, as I said, on my Windows 10 PC. On the PC I can use Brave browser and scale the font.

People don't usually travel around with a Windows PC or even a laptop. But they do take their mobile devices such as phones and tablets.
