Six Pack hood question

OK,I'm questioning my memory now. Never saw an 'arrow', but in the second picture--where are the rearward retainer pins??? What kind of hood is that?

We are thinking it is a bolt on hood steel or fiberglass not sure but the pins in the front are for hold down in case you decide not to use the factory release and latch i guess.

Still looking now don't really care if it's bolt on or pins just want the right scoop and functional :)

It's the same "arrow" shape as on a flat satellite hood. I believe that is correct, as I've seen what claim to be original A12's with that raise in the middle. My 6bbl hood doesn't have the arrow but it is more of a race hood (not as thick as the original).

I can second this. The arrow is exactly like the stock satellite hood. As in many manfucturing enivronements, there could have been a product change in the mold depending on demand. But If it has the arrow there is a "higher" probability that it is the oldest example of an original A12. Another could not have the arrow and still be stock, just an older rev. A bolt-on hood is a dead-giveaway of non-stock. (Unless someone has proof otherwise).
