I have a '65 Belvedere with a 225 slant 6, and just got a new intake/exhaust manifold gasket from Atlas Obsolete. Along with the gasket are 2 smaller teardrop shaped gaskets about an inch and three quarters long. I am doing a manifold swap and don't remember seeing anything like these on my car.
Any help appreciated.

Yumpin' yiminy…I hesitate to imagine what you paid for those gaskets from Atlas, whose prices tend to be sky-high. The slant-6 manifold gaskets (and all other gaskets) are still commonly available items if you are a gambling man and want to take a chance on the poor odds that they will seal. I'm not! It is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions.

The teardrop-shaped gaskets are for air injection tubes present on some 1972-up heads.
